Lifetime Replacement Parts and Labor Warranty

To further enhance the Volvo ownership experience, Volvo Cars of North America LLC offers the Volvo Lifetime Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty*. This warranty guarantees that new genuine Volvo replacement parts (excluding accessories and consumable parts) installed at an authorized Volvo dealer will be free from defects in material or workmanship for the original retail purchaser. The warranty covers the labor costs for replacing the covered part, provided there is no outside influence affecting it. Please note, this warranty is non-transferable.

Effective for repairs dated on or after June 1, 2015, the original retail purchaser of a new genuine Volvo replacement part, purchased and installed at an authorized Volvo dealer, will qualify for the Volvo Lifetime Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty*. This Lifetime Warranty covers both parts and labor, but only if the new replacement part is purchased and installed at an authorized Volvo dealer. Parts sold over the counter and not installed by an authorized Volvo dealer are covered by Volvo's one-year parts-only warranty.

As part of the vehicle's normal service and maintenance requirements, certain parts need to be replaced due to wear and tear. Those parts are excluded from the Volvo Lifetime Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty*. These parts include, but may not be limited to, the following:

Parts installed as part of a collision repair performed by a Certified Volvo Body Shop and/or Non-certified Body Shop are not covered by the Volvo Lifetime Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty.

*Excludes consumable parts due to normal wear and tear (some examples include: batteries, belts, filters, fuses, brake pads and rotors, wipers, spark plugs, clutch, floor mats, upholstery, tires, etc). When requesting warranty repairs on replacement parts, the purchaser must present evidence of original purchase and installation (sales ticket or Repair Order showing payment to any authorized Volvo retailer in the United States) during normal business hours. Parts replacement warranty only applies to parts installed by a certified Volvo Dealership. Parts replaced under original vehicle warranty are not covered under this warranty, they must be purchased by the customer to be eligible. Contact us for details.
